- First dip in the Pacific Ocean!

- Wake early to catch the sunrise on Miami beach.
- Grab a picnic rug and some snacks and do a Sunday afternoon session watching the sunset and enjoying the sweeping views of the city skyline on Burleigh Headland.

- Visit the beautiful Mount Tambourine and see the Glow Worm Caves and the Mt Tambourine Rainforest Skywalk.
- Make time to visit The Bread Social for the BEST pastries and goodies at one of their stores in Byron, Tweed or Isle of Capri!
- Visit one of the many art and cultural shows and exhibitions, or weekend farmers markets, at HOTA (Home of the Arts) in Bundall.

- Visit the South-Eastern corner of GC, Kirra Beach, take a photo in the famous gazebo, walk the boardwalk to Coolangatta (Cooly), dine in the Pancake Diner in the Strand and be sure to take in the view from Kirra Hill lookout!
- Visit Pacific Fair Gold Coast’s shopping, dining & entertainment mecca right in the heart of Broadbeach. It's a huge mall with 400+ stores to explore but also an unmissable shopping and dining destination.

- Gold Coast is the theme park capital of Australia! Visit one or all of the theme parks - Explore ticket deals here.
- Get a group together and hit up the ten pin bowling alley at Robina Town Centre.
- Head to Nobbys Beach and treat yourself to one of the best smoothies in town! Try Minty Melon or the Snickers Protein Smoothie at Beachside Health Cafe BSKT!

- Get a photo under the famous Surfers Paradise sign, check out the Surfers Night markets and go find the Sling Shot ride for the fright of your life!
- Hire a bike, e-bike or why not join a X2 all-terrain Segway tour and ride along the foreshore paths feeling the sun on your face and your worries floating away!

- We love Farmers markets! You must make time to visit your local community markets and pick up some fresh produce in Burleigh.
- Attend free Yoga in the Park or one of the many group sessions offered through Gold Coast City Council’s Active and Healthy program.
16. Visit the Gold Coast Botanical Gardens (31 hectares of gardens and lakes) for an Indigenous Bush Tucker or Wildlife guided tour.
17. Catch our team the Gold Coast Titans play a local game of Rugby League (NRL) Football at the CBUS Super Stadium (March to Sept).
18. Participate in one of the many free NaturallyGC activities around the city - connect with nature and play your part in environmental conservation!
19. Gold Coast is home to some impressive breweries. Grab some mates and enjoy a Pale Ale at one of these trendy establishments! I think you will be pleasantly surprised at the craft beers Gold Coast is turning out. Just remember to drink responsibly!
20. Spend the day soaking up the sun creekside at Tallebudgera Creek and hire a Stand Up Paddle Board!
21. Take a road trip out to Currumbin Valley Rock Pools and a bit further to Currumbin Valley Waterfall and stop in for an amazing brunch at Pasture & Co in the Currumbin Eco Village. Here you can see Kangaroos grazing in the paddocks!
22. Looking for something to do at night? Check out the live music at Burleigh Bazaar!
23. What about the BEST pie in town? Arguably the best can be found at Forsters Bakery at Nobby beach. You’ll just have to try it and find out for yourself! Don't forget to tag us and let us know the result 🙂 Scores well with Food with the Fox!
24. Join one of the many wine tours through Mt Tambourine. There are several wineries in the region, plus a distillery, it makes a great day out and you’ll be quite the wine connoisseur by the end of the day!
25. Next time you're at Robina Town Centre check out ArtVo for something a little different and fun with these illusions.
26. Check out Jellurgal, the Aboriginal Culture Centre at Tallebudgera and learn about the culture of Australian First Nations people. They have some interesting things in their gift shop!
27. Day Trip - Brisbane - Catch the train up to Brisbane and check out Southbank - the Art and Cultural precinct at Southbank, take a photo in front of the famous Brisbane sign, ride the Brisbane Eye, catch the ferry or walk across the bridge to Queen Street Mall. Southbank Cultural precinct by visiting the museums, and the Aquatic Centre.
28. Day Trip - Tangalooma - Book a tour to visit Tangalooma Island resort on Moreton Island. Here you can snorkel the shipwrecks, travel in glass bottom kayaks, Desert safari sand tobogganing, go ATV Quad biking and feed a wild dolphin (note this last activity is a night time activity and would require a 7pm or later ferry home). For a day trip here to fit everything in you can expect a 5am to 10pm day trip that costs around $200.00 but is so worth it!
29. Day Trip - Mount Tambourine - Check out Thunderbird park for a range of accommodation options! Activities here include the Tree Top Challenge & the Canyon Flyer Zipline Tour (Australia’s largest zipline tour) and you can walk to the beautiful Cedar Creek Falls for a dip in the cool fresh water. It is also close to Mt Tambourine’s famous Rainforest SkyWalk.
30. Overnight trip - Noosa - The tip of the sunshine coast. Visit the National park and the several beaches only available by foot. A gorgeous place to visit, catch the ferry, walk the foreshore with an ice cream and wander round the boutique stores. Plenty of nice restaurants and bars at night! Described as an upmarket Byron Bay.

34. Long weekend - Fraser Island An island made entirely of sand, World Heritage-listed K'gari (formerly Fraser Island) offers surprises at every turn.
